A fertilizer opener is a precision component on a planter or drill, responsible for cutting a narrow furrow in the soil and placing fertilizer at a precise depth and location relative to the seed. • Spout & Deflector: The exit point of the opener that directs fertilizer into the furrow. Replacing worn spouts ensures accurate placement.

• Mounting Arm: The linkage assembly connecting the opener to the planter frame. Available for left and right sides and in right-hand or left-hand configurations.
